Tomato Leaves is a fresh, green and herbaceous soy candle inspired by Noto, Sicily. It blends crisp tomato leaf with Sicilian lemon, orange peel, wild oregano, basil, green vine, olive wood and cedarwood. Hand-poured in the UK, it comes in a refillable 250g amber jar with an approximate 40-hour burn time.

How to use

  • Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar each burn to prevent pooling
  • Only burn your candle for 4 hours at a time
  • Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch before each lighting
  • Keep your candle free of any foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings
  • Only burn your candle on a level, fire resistant surface
  • Stop burning your candle when only 1/4 inch of wax remains

Safety: To prevent fire and serious injury, burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire.

No. All of our candle wicks are made from a cotton/linen blend and are lead free.

What are the benefits of soy wax?

All of our scented candles are made with GMO-free soy wax. The benefits of this wax are:

  • It burns 40-50% slower than paraffin wax, giving you better value for money
  • It's an entirely natural vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans
  • It's a renewable and sustainable material, unlike petroleum-based paraffin wax

How can I get my candle to burn down evenly?

We thoroughly test each and every candle before releasing to our customers to ensure the entirety of wax is burnt right down to the bottom. There are however ways to help reduce an uneven burn on your candle at home. Just make sure that when you first light your candle you have trimmed the wick is to at least 1cm. Upon its first burn, make sure that the wax melts all the way to the edge before blowing out. Wax has a ‘memory’ and if you only allow a small pool of wax to melt, it will only burn to that diameter in the future. Take some time out to enjoy your candle on its first burn and it will burn evenly forevermore!
