Looking for an escape from the comfort of your own home? The Scent Passport™ is for you!

Four times a year, we create a new limited-edition scent inspired by a real-world travel destination. Each release is timed with the natural rhythm of the seasons, arriving around a solstice or equinox.

Your first delivery includes a full candle in a refillable R+W jar. Future seasonal deliveries include a candle refill, designed to fit your original jar and continue the journey with less waste.

Every Scent Passport™ release is handmade by us in small batches and made once only.

How to use

Burning your candle

  • Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar each burn to prevent pooling
  • Only burn your candle for 4 hours at a time
  • Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch before each lighting
  • Keep your candle free of any foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings
  • Only burn your candle on a level, fire resistant surface
  • Stop burning your candle when only 1/4 inch of wax remains

Safety: To prevent fire and serious injury, burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire.

Refilling your jar

Refilling your jar is super easy. Once 1/4 inch of wax remains at the bottom, clean out your jar using warm soapy water and remove the wick placer. Drop the refill into the jar, light and enjoy. Better for you, better for the planet.

How it works

  • Purchase a Scent Passport™

    Each season, we hand make a new and exclusive candle fragrance for our Passport holders. Your first delivery is £30, followed by £22.50 for each seasonal refill.

  • Receive the release

    Each release is charged on the 1st day of the release month, then handmade and dispatched shortly after.

  • Travel to a destination

    Each new scent is tied to a specific real world destination, taking inspiration from that locations culture, cuisine and aroma. Each scent release is made once and never again.

Our New York City-inspired Pistachio candle captures the atmosphere of a modern downtown patisserie: polished counters, warm pastries, toasted nuts and a moment of calm between busy avenues. The fragrance opens with pistachio, softens into almond and cream, and settles into a smooth coconut base. The result is a pistachio scent that feels refined rather than sugary—a comforting, contemporary gourmand fragrance.

FAQs

When will I receive my order?

Scent Passport™ releases happen four times a year.

You’ll be charged on the 1st day of the release month. Your candle or refill will then be handmade and dispatched shortly after, ahead of the season’s solstice or equinox. However, please be aware that the actual delivery date may fluctuate, depending on the specific season (e.g. Christmas is a very busy period, so we would expect some delays in the post office).

If you purchase a Passport after a release, you'd receive your first delivery on the next release date. For example if a release month was Summer, you'd receive your first delivery with the Autumn release.

Can I return my candle or candle refill?

Yes. You have 30 days to return your candle or candle refill if you aren’t satisfied, . Please refer to our returns policy for more info.

How can I cancel my Passport subscription?

You are welcome to cancel your Scent Passport™ subscription at any time.

If you’re not ready to receive an upcoming order, you can request to skip a season via your subscription portal. Navigate to your account, click Subscriptions and you'll be sent to the portal.

All Passport cancellations must be made in advance of the billing day for the next release, which falls on the first day of each release month. Without this notice, our efforts to keep waste to a minimum are compromised.

How do I change my delivery address?

You can manage all of your details via your subscription portal. Go to your account and click Subscriptions.

Can I skip a release?

We understand there may be a reason you need to skip a release. Skipping a delivery will stop you from being charged for one release, and you will not receive that release's candle.

If you’d like to skip a release, you can do so via your online portal anytime before you are billed for that release - billing day will always be the first day of each release month (June, September, December and March).

Can I buy an extra candle from a release?

We produce small-batch candle scents exclusively for our Passport holders.

Since we only produce a very limited supply of candles each season, we cannot guarantee you will be able to purchase any extra candles.

That being said, please feel free to reach out to us after receiving your candle, and we'll check to see if there are any remaining after all our Passport holders have received theirs.
