The best hand wash technique

We’ve finally launched our Russell & White hand wash which we hope you’ll love and enjoy! We've created three blends with different aromas but all serving the same purpose - to wash bacteria away! In support of our new collection, here's some tips on how to achieve the best hand washing technique.

Hand wash and soap is the front line defence against the COVID-19 virus. It also prevents diarrhea-related illnesses and respiratory infections which includes the cold or the flu.

While researching into creating hand wash, we found that studies show many people don’t always use the best technique when washing their hands, or wash them for long enough.

Now more than ever, is a great time to practise washing our hands properly and that’s why we created this post.

Hand washing is an essential and practical skill that you can easily learn and teach to others. It takes around 20 seconds, and can be done in five simple steps, here is our hand washing technique:

  1. Wet your hands with clean, running water and apply soap
  2. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap
  3. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds
  4. Rinse your hands well under clean, warm running water
  5. Dry your hands using a clean towel or air-dryer

We hope that you find the above information helpful and have enjoyed reading our blog post on the best hand washing technique. Watch this space for news on our products, company and more. You can also follow our journey on our Instagram and Facebook accounts.
